Taipei Language Institute (TLI) is one of the most-established and best-known language training schools for studying Chinese. Since its founding in 1956, TLI has grown steadily and now has five centers in Taiwan and many overseas branches located in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Suzhou, Shenzhen, Tokyo, Los Angeles and New York. Over the years, TLI has developed a set of well-accepted teaching methods and materials that aim at improving the students' ability to communicate.
